Irving Family Day In The Life
Quiet homestead chores as the sun rises. Mom and dad making a homemade breakfast. Building magnatiles with your siblings. Baby snuggles. Grandma and grandpa popping in for breakfast. All on a quietly beautiful Saturday morning. The moments that build core memories of childhood. I love to step into my clients stories and then take a gentle step back to observe. It gives me a vantage point to find the beautiful within the mundane and give your family a perspective you have maybe never seen.
I found myself near tears several times overwhelmed with the significance and beauty of it all. Melinda and Douglas have walked out a cancer diagnosis and through it all stayed by each others side while intentionally building a legacy for their family. One of health and love and taking joy in the simple things. Their children naturally operate out of this and their smiles and joyful laughter clearly reflect that.
When I look back at this session, I think about how time together as a family, gathered around the kitchen and enjoying food and each others presence is the richest anyone could ever be in life. What a gift it is.
